Jim DuBose

Hello my name is Jim DuBose, and I’m a commercial & personal lines insurance agent working with Ransom & Associates Insurance Agency. I have been an insurance agent for 6 years helping countless families & small to medium sized businesses find affordable insurance that meets their needs.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and watching football & baseball. I have been married to the love of my life for over 20 years. She is an elementary school teacher in Barrow County. My wife and I have 3 wonderful & active children ages 13, 16, & 21. You will often find us on the weekends at the ball field with my youngest son’s travel baseball team or at our daughter’s competitive cheer competitions. My oldest son in the Army National Guard and a Sheriff’s deputy. For the past 32 years, Walton and Barrow county have been home.

After owning my own construction trade business and many years managing automotive retail stores I decided, in 2015, to pursue my insurance license to help people manage their everyday risk. I’m passionate about making sure that your personal and/or commercial insurance policies best fit your needs and your pocket.
